Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi, Sh. Anil Baijal holds meeting on PM-UDAY (Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna)

Reviews steps to be taken for conferring/recognizing ownership/transfer/mortgage rights to the residents of unauthorized colonies in Delhi.  

Mobilize resources for time-bound implementation of PM-UDAY : LG

Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi, Sh. Anil Baijal held meeting on PM-UDAY (Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna) and reviewed steps to be taken for conferring/recognizing ownership/transfer/mortgage rights to the residents of unauthorized colonies in Delhi.    The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary, Delhi; VC, DDA; Divisional Commissioner, GNCTD; Secretary (UD), GNCTD; all three municipal commissioners; District Magistrate (South-West) and other concerned officers.

At the outset Hon’ble LG directed all concerned to finalize required processes and mobilize adequate resources for time-bound implementation of PM-UDAY (Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna).

 Hon’ble LG directed officers to take action to declare concerned villages as urbanized, prepare development control norms for incentivising planned redevelopment, identify vacant land and take measures for its protections, carry out digital survey of colonies and delineate boundaries in a time-bound manner.

Hon’ble  LG also emphasized on access to social infrastructure and basic civic amenities for the residents. He further advised all concerned departments to work in a mission mode for successful implementation of PM-UDAY.
