I am happy to be present amidst you for the inauguration of "eSanjeevani" OPD project at this historic site of Hindu Rao Hospital. It is indeed a matter of privilege for me to be launching a program that symbolizes the congruence of PM, Shri Narendra Modi's two visionary and flagship schemes of Jan Aarogya- Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Digital India.

  1. In having become the First Organization not only in Delhi, but the entire country, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and its Hindu Rao Hospital have taken upon themselves a huge responsibility of reaching quality healthcare to millions at their homes. I am sure that the Faculty, Doctors, Staff and Administration of the Hospital and MCD will successfully fulfill this onerous responsibility.
  2. Friends,
    I am aware of the problems and challenges that you are facing due to a host of legacy issues and undesirable partisan oneupmanship. I take this opportunity to assure you that we are working in tandem with all departments and agencies concerned to address and solve them in a time bound manner.
  3. The Hindu Rao Hospital and its associated Medical College have a glorious history. I am committed to not only restoring its glory but taking it to newer heights as an exemplary centre of excellence in Medical Services and Public Health care. However, this goal will require all of you - Doctors, Paramedics, Technicians and support staff, to commit yourself as proactive stakeholders in our journey ahead. I appeal to you to come forward an own this establishment as your own.
  4. Experts and Medical specialists present here will bear me out that, that the biggest public health challenge that our National Capital faces is that of pollution – be it that of water or air, garbage and overall environmental degradation, that directly affects our health.  These are issues that not only affect all of us today but will go on to adversely impact our future generations. I have said it in the past and reiterate again that addressing these should be our prime concern.
  5. I am clear that in overcoming this challenge, committed and concerted efforts from all stakeholders - government agencies and departments, civil society and NGOs and above all, every resident of Delhi will be required. I take this opportunity to once again appeal to the people of Delhi to come forward and participate as equal stakeholders in this task of transforming the National Capital of India and provide to it its deserving place.
  6. I also want to underline that I would personally oversee seamless inter-departmental and inter-agency coordination to ensure that established goals and decisions taken are implemented in a time-bound manner. No lapses on part of any one concerned will be tolerated and accountability for every task will be fixed. 
  7. Towards the end, I would like to put on record my gratitude for all health professionals who served Delhi – indeed the entire human kind with utmost dedication as Corona Warriors during the trying times that we are yet emerging from. I wish the “eSanjeevani App” being launched today all success and appeal to people to subscribe to it and utilize its benefits to the optimum.
