Mandatory Annual Health Check Up Scheme for all Government employees of Delhi will be a step towards better work culture: LG
Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Delhi, reviewed the mandatory “Annual Health Check up Scheme” in respect of all employees under Govt. employees of GNCTD, DDA, Delhi Police & MCDs, aged 40 years and above. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman, DDA; Commissioner of Police, Delhi; Pr. Secretary (Health), GNCTD; Secretary (Services), GNCTD; Secretary (UD), GNCTD; Municipal Commissioners of MCD; Spl. Commissioner of Delhi Police (Admn) and other concerned officers.
At the outset, all concerned HODs apprised Hon’ble LG about the present status, progress and process of implementation of Annual Health Check up Scheme in their departments.
Hon’ble Lt. Governor stated that healthy mind lives in a healthy body and Mandatory Annual Health Check up Scheme for all government employee of Delhi will be a step towards better work culture. Healthy employees are overall more productive and efficient. He also discussed the modalities with officials of Government of NCT of Delhi, Vice Chancellor, DDA, Commissioner of Delhi Police and commissioners of three Municipal Corporations.
Earlier on 01stAugust, 2019 Hon’ble LG accorded in-principle approval to the mandatory Annual Health Check up Scheme in respect of all Government employees of GNCT of Delhi over the age of 40.
Hon’ble LG further advised all concerned HODs to chalk out standard procedures and expedite implementation of Annual Health Check up Scheme for all Government employees at the earliest.
