I am pleased to learn that the Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi, is felicitating its best performing schools and meritorious students for their outstanding achievements by way of ‘Excellence in Education Award’.

Education is the foundation of a civilized and progressive society. In the present times greater thrust needs to be laid on use of technology for enhancing access to education, while inculcating abilities of critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity amongst students so they can effectively contribute to the society and the nation.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to all the awardees on this occasion and wish the Directorate of Education good luck and success in their future endeavours.
