Hon’ble Lt. Governor Delhi, Sh. Anil Baijal greets the people of Delhi and nation on the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day of India.
On the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day of the Nation, the Lt. Governor of Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal has extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to all Indians.
In his message, Shri Baijal said, “As we commemorate our Nation’s Independence today, let us remember and pay homage to the sacrifices of those who laid their lives to deliver freedom to us. He added, “The Independence Day is an occasion for us to renew our pledge to serve our Nation with greater sincerity, commitment and truth, in all walks of life.”
He exhorted the people to set an example of good citizenship and emphasized the need to treat all with respect and dignity, irrespective of caste, class, gender, religion or region.
