I am pleased to learn that IIIT-Delhi is organizing its 11th Convocation on 26th November, 2022. On this momentous occasion, I congratulate all the graduating students for the hard work and discipline they have shown to reach this important milestone. I also applaud the efforts of their teachers, parents, mentors, friends and all those who have supported them during their endeavour.
The COVID-19 pandemic altered our world in a way that no one ever perceived, yet the commitment shown by the students during one of the most difficult times in human history, is laudable. As we traverse further, I hope that exposure to such turbulences during their formative years at IIIT-Delhi, will help forge the students as individuals who are well prepared to not just face the challenges, but also build a better world by finding innovative solutions to solve such problems.
In the last fourteen years, IIIT-Delhi has been recognised in many national and global rankings, among the best institutes for education and research. It has given the students a stable foundation for their career. I hope they will continue their contributions towards betterment of our community, our nation, and our world.
I commend the graduating class of 2022 for their success and wish them the very best in their future endeavours.
