I am pleased to know that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is celebrating its Raising Day on 19^thJanuary, 2018 and a souvenir is being brought out to commemorate the occasion.

I convey my best wishes to the officers and all ranks of the NDRF on this joyous occasion and express my appreciation for the professionalism, sincerity, discipline and dedication that the Force has exhibited in handling and responding to various disasters, since its inception.

I am sure the NDRF will continue to serve the nation by helping in preparation and response to natural and man-made calamities in robust and efficient manner.
