I am happy to learn that the Armed Forces Flag Day is being celebrated on 07th December, 2022. The occasion provides an opportunity to pay homage to the sacrifices made by the valiant personnel of the Indian Armed Forces in protecting the sovereignty and integrity of our nation.
It is heartening to note that various welfare and rehabilitation schemes are being implemented by Rajya Sainik Board for resettlement, welfare and rehabilitation of Ex-Servicemen, who stood resolute in upholding the tradition of ‘service before self’ and their dependents.
I appeal to my fellow residents of the National Capital to contribute generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, so that the noble cause of serving our beloved and respected ex-servicemen and their families can be taken up with greater vigour.
I offer my salutations to the Armed Forces personnel and wish the endeavours of the Rajya Sainik Board my very best.
